1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spartacus ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spartacus is a team management platform that helps coaches and organizations manage player rosters, distribute surveys, and gather team insights. The Service includes web applications, mobile notifications, and communication tools.

3. SMS/Text Message Communications

Spartacus may offer SMS text message notifications as an optional communication channel. Agreeing to receive text messages is not required to use the Service, and is not a condition of any purchase or participation. You may always choose to receive notifications via email only.

If you opt in, text messages may include:

  • Survey notifications and reminders
  • Team announcements and updates
  • Account verification and security alerts

Opt-in Process: Your coach or team administrator obtains your verbal or written consent before adding your phone number to the Spartacus platform. When your number is added, you will receive a one-time text message with a link to confirm your notification preference. You may choose to receive text messages or decline and receive email notifications only. No survey-related SMS notifications are sent until you confirm your preference.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help. You can also contact your coach to update your preferences, or update your notification settings in the app.

Message frequency varies based on team activity. Message and data rates may apply.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Coach and Administrator Responsibilities

Coaches and team administrators agree to:

  • Obtain verbal or written consent from team members before entering their phone numbers
  • Only add team members who are part of their organization
  • Ensure team members are informed about communication practices
  • Promptly update or remove contact information upon request
  • Use the platform only for legitimate team management purposes

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Spartacus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
